A somewhat arrogant and imperious person, who is, in spite of all appearances, a serious scholar when he isn't being distracted by textiles, mahjong and men.He has a sharp tongue and enjoys watching people squirm in discomfort, though he takes care to maintain plausible deniability as far as possible.While he desires companionship, he has trouble opening up and is wont to blow up the entire relationship if he feels threatened.
Backstory:
As he tells it, he is a Sharlayan citizen recently come to Eorzea after his thesis about memory manipulation and transference was rejected as a legitimate research topic.He also claims to be interested in physiological differences between Au Ra in different regions, which is definitely not a thinly veiled attempt to lure delectable young men back to his room for extensive measurements. How dare you imply he has ulterior motives, when he is just working on quantitative population studies?And if he has to live like a poor student, it is certainly because student stipends are terribly small and not because he spent all his gil losing at Doman Mahjong and buying expensive clothes.Recently, due to certain events, he has been (potentially) fatally afflicted by an excess of light-aspected aether. Though the condition is under control for the moment, he has relocated to Kugane in search of a long-lost brother, and taken up the position of resident physician at a local talent agency.

He thinks he's good at it; he's not good at it, but golly gee will he play (bet) like he is.Scholarly Pursuits - You can take the scholar out of Sharlayan, but you can't take the Sharlayan out of the scholar.
